Where did the name “Wistaria” come from?

Known only to her friends and family as JoAnne, it was during an 11:11 alignment ceremony, where a large group gathered to pray for world peace, JoAnne was given the name Wistaria by one of her guides. It was very much of a baptism with the spiritual realms and it Stands for “Wise” “Star” of “Feminine Beauty.”

She regularly meditates for human consciousness to evolve to a place of world peace and believes it is transforming at a very rapid pace. Wistaria is a mentor, teacher and seer who enjoys empowering her clients with useful tools they can apply practically in their day to day lives.

She had her first insight at the age of eight. Not fully understanding of what had occurred she dismissed the premonition ‘til later in her adult life when she could then realize what and why it occurred. Wistaria was born with the veil (double placenta), significant in meaning as being doubly protected and chosen to do spiritual work. Her grandmother read cards. Her great-great-grandmother was a community healer both on her father’s side. By the early age of 11, she would gather friends into the girl’s washroom at recess to hold séances (that was stopped when she was caught by the Librarian). She had thought this was normal behavior.

Her interest in the communication with spirit prompted her family to acquire books for her studies. Once in high school, her gifts had her predicting outcomes for her friends with regards to their relationships for fun. She toyed with TM© and self hypnosis, helping her fine tune her skills in seeing Auras. As she moved through the academia of life she followed the norm with an honors degree in Mechanical Engineering and apprenticed as a Welder Fitter for CN Rail, repairing box cars and passenger trains in the yards of Toronto. After the birth of her second child, she broke her back for a second time. As much as this would be considered a negative, it began the opening to deeper understanding of circumstances which had occurred over the course of her life and she rejoiced in acknowledging her life’s work, which she had chosen for herself.

Already heavily into holistic medicine, health and healing Wistaria expanded deeper into the area of the mind, body, spirit connection and began working on all three levels to help heal others around her.Since then she has studied with masters from California, B.C., England and locally within the GTA. Today she is recognized for her rare gift and reads for countless individuals, corporations and organizations across North America every year.
